Covid 19 working arrangements
Turkington are closely following guidelines from the Government and industry bodies to ensure the safety of our staff and customers during the COVID19 outbreak. We have implemented the following steps help manage risks in customer’s homes and in our showrooms and offices:
Showrooms, Offices & Stores:
- Sanitiser stations at showroom and office entrance points
- Signage and floor markings in place to enforce social distancing
- Perspex screens installed at reception area and workstations
- Regular hand washing/sanitising regimen
- Regular cleaning and sanitising of showroom surfaces and access points
- Social distancing rules are in place with limitations on the number of people using the showroom and office spaces at any one time
Customer’s Homes:
- Staff & operatives have been provided sanitiser to use before entering the customer’s home
- Before arriving at a property, we will ask several vetting questions to ensure that it is safe and appropriate that we conduct the visit, we will also complete customer specific Risk Assessments and implement specific Risk mitigations prior to installation works
- We aim to conduct visits safely by adhering to social distance guidelines of 2m at all times, we would ask for your co-operation in allowing our installation teams to conduct works at safe distance, and if at all possible ask that you vacate your property during the installation
- Window & door frames and handles will be sanitised/cleaned after installation
- Equipment, such as pens, are not to be shared between customers and staff
- We ask that any payments are made electronically
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Hand Sanitiser, Disposable Gloves and Face Masks have been provided to all staff and operatives – these are available to use when required
